Two weekends ago I spend my saturday at Sea World in San Diego, CA with my oldest and dearest friend in the world. The last time I went there was like 10 years ago, it sure has its improvements and new high tech rides, but the most amazing thing about the place is still its species.
In the Turtle Trek area I spotted this fish, at first glance I thought it was very (VERY) ugly, but when I got the chance to look at it closely I found myself regretting my words, since I discovered the most beautiful colors and patterns in its skin.
This made me think about how many times we (people in general) judge other people without really knowing them, and often we base our opinions about someone on a first impression. Of course first impressions are important, but they are not the whole story.
So here I am enchanted by the fish and this quick reflexion I'm going to try to keep in mind next time I meet someone, and well maybe we can give second chances to those who might be around us and we've closed our door just too quickly for them.
