Last wednesday Multimedia class was all about short films, I was late because of the presentation of DOZ Magazine at Tijuana, but I got the chance to see them all later. My favorite since like I first saw it a few years ago is called “For the birds” which is funny, simple and short.
The animation is quite expressive given the fact that there are animals we are talking about, so the emotions are transmitted by gestures and sounds in this case, we got no dialogue and the music takes the lead on showing us what you we feel.
I did a little research and found out this short film won the Oscar for Best Animated Short Film on 2002, so you gotta see it if you haven’t yet.

I am glad you manage to arrive and watch some of the stuff before the class was done. This particular one is a classic in regards of character expression, anticipation and action / reaction animation...
